Amazon small niche question

Hi all,

I am making an amazon affiliate site and going to target a low competition keyword / product. According to Google keyword tool this keyword has around 8000 monthly searches according to broad option (left side in the google keyword tool) and around 800 monthly searches according to exact options (left side in the google keyword tool).

I want to know how many sales I can expect if my website will be on the firt page of google according to this keyowrd. I know it depends on niche etc etc. But only want to know an average expected sale.

Please advice.

Nobody can answer that question. If you were selling iphones at $10 you would get hundreds an hour, if you sell a cookie at $199 probably non ever. It's not something you can expect an answer on, you just need to trial it and see for yourself. Every niche is different and it all depends on marketing, copy, the item/word, competition etc...
