Hey guys, in the past I've been selling on eBay with little success, I wanted to try something new and heard some good things about Amazon. What I am planning to do is list items priced between $500-$1500 on Amazon, once bought, I'll buy them way cheaper on eBay and get them sent to the buyers home direct from eBay.

    1. Is this a good idea?
    2. What seller fees do Amazon have for selling an item of that price?

I've heard they take 17% of all items sold... so say I sold an item for £1000, they would take £170 of that? what if I don't sell the item, do I still need to pay money other than the listing fee? I'm kind of lost here everyone, help me out. I'm not familiar with Amazon at all.

Thanks in advance. I don't know where to post this so I put it here.
