Amazon Seller Issue

I have a business that i work for and the owner has his own ecommerce website that he sells barware and glassware. He also has an Amazon merchant account. Over the past few days we have received emails from Amazon that state our prices on our website are cheaper than what we offer on Amazon. i am aware that Amazon wants you to sell your stuff cheaper on Amazon then on your website. My question is how the heck does Amazon know? Does it do some sort of screen scrape on a daily basis?

Any way of fooling Amazon without getting banned?

what??? Amazon wants to dictate for which prices you can sell on your OWN website?
Really never heard something like this. also this is complete nonsense, because why should you have to sell onamazon LOWER than on your website? On Amazon you have to pay fees which you have to add to sales price, on your website you do not pay fees so you can sell for cheaper
