I opened a seller account on Amazon a week back, and a few days ago listed about 10 items. I got 7 sales in the first few hours after listing them since I was the lowest price for them all. Then a few hours after all my sales I get an email saying my account is under review.. after reading into it more it says that my funds will be held while they review my account and can take 30 days or more.

Well now I have a bunch of people who payed and are waiting for their items, but Amazon won't give me the money so I can drop ship them.

Has this ever happened to anyone before? Are they really gonna hold the money for 30 or more days? By then I'll have all my customers complaining about me to Amazon, which will get me banned.

Funny how that works, Amazon freezes your account so you can't get the customers their items, then will ban you when your customers complain, what do they expect to happen?!

I don't think it's such a good idea to mix dropshipping and amazon. Your product is a high risk item something like dvd's or software. Even if you had the items on hand and shipped, provided tracking details you'd be under review and probably get banned.

You won't be able to access the money for 90 days once they review and ban you. Just give the people back their money...no need to make them wait. You'll never see that money.

I have just refunded everyone.. so is there no way to do what I am trying to do? You are correct with what I am selling btw

Legally in america you cannot sell an item that you don't have in your possesion, even though it is skirted practically all the time online...

That's why vendor agreements are extremely important in the dropshipping game and having a realaitonship with your supplier..

shit my account is under review as well and I have still pending orders to deliver.
what do I do now please help me wiht this.

a new seller's account with a bunch of new sales + a risky category = review status

yes, I was selling a hot stuff, I shipped 3 orders, then I still have 12 orders in my inbox, but i have not comfirm any of them yet, so i just got a email where they are reviwing my acoount.

so what is suggested to do now, I just received two more orders, should I go ahead and concel all orders, anyways they will cancel my account after the review...

thanks

Amazon, will cancel you for giving alot of refunds also. No need
to try talking to them, if you have money left in account, they will hold 90 days.

Selling fitness dvds, software etc from china will get you banned. You would have had a chance if you would have only sold a few things you could afford to dropship then built it up.

How many items and how much did you sell in one account ?

As for me, I will register different Amazon selling account and start to sell a few items in the beginning.
