This place is still quite confusing. Yet I think I understand. Possibly.

Anywho,
Amazon should not have individual sellers, as you can easily be scammed by them. As I did, bought a game worth $100, I used most of my Amazon gift card on it. I used my debit card to pay for the rest, which was $6.

I requested a refund, the seller accepted it. But the Amazon refund thing says I should have received my money within 3 to 4 hours or something, since it was mostly gift card money. I didn't receive any of my money back, even after the package was sent back and the seller accepted the refund.
In conclusion: Scammers can go to hell.

If the seller does not give refund, then amazon is liable to refund you. Contact their customer support.

Terrible idea, yeah, let us just remove all the sole-proprietor vendors to leave all the money on the table for large corporate sellers and cut out the little guys (like us) so sales can be monopolized by those who are already atop the economic food chain.

Never judge the masses on the actions of one, if you made an order that was not received, they will make it right and reimburse you.

What Amazon has or not has is their concern

Amazon's customer support is one of the best out there so be patient you should receive it!

If the seller accepted refund without any issues, you shouldn't call him a scammer. Asking for ban on all individual sellers is illogical. If it's all big corporates, then you'd have a hard time getting a refund from them. It's because of competition and to maintain their reputation that the sellers avoid disputes. You'll get a refund. Otherwise you can contact their customer support.

Sorry dude, I was going to process your refund but I couldn’t be bothered, I might do it next month because i want to buy a new game this week.

How long has it been?
It's possible it may just take more time to appear back on the card.
I would also check your account to see if they possible applied it as an account credit.

Couldn't have said this better.

Plus the fact that it might take upto 7 days for the refund to show up on the statement, while gc/amazon pay refunds are instant.

I went out to buy some dolls :anyway:

I overreacted a tad bit. My bad. But, I did indeed get my money back. I just think there should be less scammers, and it's a little hard to tell if it is a scammer or not. I guess unless you look at every single review of the seller.

And the one whom scammed me, was indeed a scammer.
He called it mail fraud or whatever. And tried lying to me. It was hilarious. Until he realized me mum was a banker. Lmfao. Then he shut up and gave me my money back. Quite nice.

You have protection from amazon if you buy from other sellers. Amazon has to take responsibility. They are legally responsible.

I stopped buying anything from Amazon. I download pirated games and ebooks. Cloths I buy from Branded retail.
