just found this guide to using amazon rss feeds with your associate id...not sure if anyone has covered this before but here goes i found it on the amazon blog hope it helps some people or they can find it usefull:

You can create the following RSS-feeds by following the steps outlined below:

* Bestsellers of various Categories
* Bestsellers of Sub-Categories
* New Releases
* Most gifted Products
* Most Wished For Producst

Best Sellers of various categories:

Step 1: go to Category Bestsellers, e. g. Videogames

Step 2: delete all parameters following the Categorie-Description

Step 3: replace parameter gp by rss:
