Amazon review site!! Static or post home page?

I am working on my second Amazon review site and looking for advice from those that have built our many review sites and curious as to what converts better. I am working in a fairly large niche where I can create many topics and post around the niche.

What seems to have the better conversion rate when it comes to the frontpage...

A static front with intro / comparison chart / brief reviews linking to full reviews.

Or, a intro page with blog post for the frontpage...

or a hybrid of the two.

What are your thoughts guys??

What I do ; Hybrid

You write a good overall piece content, join comparison charts (smaller ones - 3-4 comparisons) And also make it work as an index for your other pages as well
