amazon relabeling

I was watching a video on how to sell on amazon and this guy was saying when an item is copyrighted and not allowed to be sold on amazon, he puts his own brand on it and sells it. for example let's say Advil cannot be sold on amazon. so he buys Advil and puts a label on it for example "awesome painkillers" and sells it that way.
Do you know anything about this relabeling method?

Amazon is a affiliate marketing killer and they pay very low commissions. I would recommend Impact.com

Yeah, sounds illegal because you're relabeling and reselling a branded product without the brand owners consent. The pills themselves are also still labeled Advil linking it back to the brand owner and placing liability on them.
