Amazon quietly launches the "Amazon Influencer Program"

This program was launched only a few days ago.

'The Amazon Influencer Program is exclusively designed for social media influencers with large followings and a high frequency of posts with shoppable content. An intuitive vanity URL makes it easy for customers to find, browse and buy the products introduced to them through social media influencers. The program allows influencers to earn fees for purchases they drive through their social media platforms. This program is currently in beta mode and open by invitation only.'

'The Amazon Influencer Program and its associated products, such as the Amazon influencer page, are dedicated to social media influencers who have large followings. We are not currently offering this program to those who do not meet the social media influencer qualifications.'

So this is the social media version of Amazon Associates.

Should apply before the crowd comes.

i dont get it, how is it different than amazon associate system?

I somehow like everything that Amazon does lately. I think they will grow really nice with all the things they introduced.
