Amazon proof of address for seller

Hey guys so just trying to open an Amazon store and Amazon have asked for proof of address which i thought great not an issue.
Well Amazon want a water or Gas bill or an internet bill which i do not have in my name. i have 12 credit cards with card statements at my address my bank statement and my car insurance everything else is in my wifes name. Has anyone had this issue before and if so how did you get it sorted ?

So send in the car insurance or credit card bill... They will see the last name, same address, probably won't be an issue.

Address and full name must be visible on the document. Also, document should be a recent one, preferably within a month. Credit card statement will work, it can not be screenshot. Good Luck!

Amazon keep rejecting it i have sent bank statements car insurance and credit card bills all from Jan 2020. Amazon want a water gas or internet bill which i do not have in my name its a nightmare dealing with them

Are you able to log into one of your utility companies and change the mailing name to show yours?

Or get in contact with seller support (open a ticket) and explain the situation and see what they suggest.

Another alternative... Change over one of the utilities to your name.

Do not do this, you will get banned for fraud and you can not open ever any seller accounts. Then change one utilities to your name or buy a monthly paid mobile number.

I would take this as a form of rejection. Amazon will make money off your store. Basically, it would be a problem if they do not want your money. Probably a disguised rejection.

Better get the documents Amazon is asking for.

Don't take shortcut with Amazon.

They are very good at finding forged document.

You do not want to risk your account and money.
