    Hi,

I want to build multiple 4-5 pages websites in various niches and add Amazon products. I am going to bring traffic from PPC engines and I am not looking after organic listing in SERP so the duplicate content issue is not important. I would like to know what is the fastest way of adding a selective list of amazon products and build a website around specific keyword/term. Something that is easy to implement.

I'm doing EXACTLY this myself, but I'm chasing after adsense clicks along with Amazon products. I get all my clicks from organic listings, so I don't pay a dime. I've built a little more than 30 sites, all on different product categories, targeted for specific keywords. Here's how it breaks down:

I make about 1/3 from Amazon sales and 2/3 from adsense. My adsense conversions are between 5-7% and my Amazon conversions are pretty steady around 2%. (I guess there are more tire kickers out there than I thought.) I'm just starting to sell more than 110 items per month, so my commission rate is finally reaching 7%. (yay)

Paying for your clicks and ending up with 2% conversions might be kind of tough. Sure hope your selling the expensive stuff! And if you are bidding on expensive item keywords, I'm sure you'll be paying more for the clicks too.

This Internet Marketing is one slippery slope to climb!

Do you put your Amazon links by hand or automatic on your site?

Direct linking to Amazon from PPC is against TOS, but you can use PPC to drive traffic to your own landing page with Amazon links on it.

Isn't it against Adsense TOS to bring PPC traffic to your site?

How does it work exactly? Does it scrape products based on a list of keywords or a list of categories? what content does it fetch from amazon?

Do you write products review or you scrape them from amazon websites? It's hard to get organic traffic with duplicate content. I don't want to write the content and that's why I am not focusing on organic traffic. I am not good at writing and I don't want to invest on outsourcing the content creation. I just want to promote the products through Yahoo/MSN and some second tier PPCs.

I am also thinking about adding adsense to my pages. Is it legal to put adsense code on duplicate content taken from amazon website? I was doing this with wikipedia content 3 years ago (Arbitrage).

I don't think so. It's not mentioned in the TOS as far as I know

I stick 'em on by hand, grab the product photo and rename it something Google can understand, give it an alt tag, etc. I've got a template going and I can bang through 25 products in little more than an hour.

The whole point is just to GET them to go to Amazon and take my cookie along with them. THEN they can browse to their hearts content. My sites are very plain on purpose.

All my product descriptions are outsourced and rewritten. If you don't find someone in the Philippines who'll do it on the cheap then you don't now what your missing.
