amazon pay structure question

I just noticed that there is an option to either get paid via the classic or performance structure.

Which are you guys using?

It seems that you can't lose by taking performance as it looks like it pays at the lowest 4% and up to 8.5% . So it seems clear, just trying to make sure that I am not missing something.

The fixed option is the best if you are selling electronic goods. Like laptops. There is a cap on those items if you are on the performance plan.

so it says flat 4% on classic

on performance 4% - 8.5%

so on performance does that mean 4% is the lowest that I can get on electronics?
