Amazon "Ordered Items" question.

I have one item in my Report that says "Item Ordered". It seems the item hasn't been ordered through a direct link. Do I get money from this sale at all or not? Do I have to wait til the item is shipped before I get the money?

Im in same position as you, you will get commision for the product but only when it is shipped.

Does the status mean that the item has been ordered and is awaiting shipment from the seller or that the item has been ordered and is awaiting payment from the buyer. Do you know? Thanks in advance ;)
 
It means the item has been ordered and paid for...
it is waiting to be shipped.

Are you sure? I have a few items that appear as ordered but they never get shipped and so i get no $ for them.

I always though Ordered is when someone puts the item in their basket. But no payment has been made.

There are some items on Amazon which only show you the price if you add them to your basket.

For how long have they had the status? I appearantly had the sale just a few hours ago when I previously thought it was a sale from days ago, so I can imagine why it hasn't been shipped yet for me.

You misunderstood what I wrote... I said ordered and paid for..
the customer paid amazon... that does not mean you got paid.

you get paid when the order ships.

so if the item is bought today... and paid for today...
and it is on back order for 3 months...
you will get paid for it in 3 months when it ships..
 
if you notice...
on the weekend..
you will have more "ordered items" than "shipped"

then monday or tuesday... you will have more "shipped" than "ordered"

and the reason is that some warehouses are closed on weekends..
so orders pile up... but they do no ship until monday or tuesday...

then you get paid...
 
i hope your right! ive got 6 3d tvs that were ordered in december, but never shipped. :D
