Amazon or Shopify for Selling Products

If i had to choose only one I'd say Amazon all day for me.
It's already got traffic and if your product(s) catches on they will even promote it to other buyers.
Add in that people only go to Amazon to buy and that there's little friction over trust and you are onto a winner.
The ideal situation would be to do both (although I'd use woocommerce over shopify).
Promote your site through your Amazon sales with vouchers and flyers and build traffic that way.
You can also do wonders for your conversion by accepting Amazon Pay.
It's one of the techniques I use for my pet shop.
