Amazon or Ebay ?

I'm new to the affiliate world , and i'm going to pick Amazon or ebay for my first money web .
I'm still be pending by ebay and amazone give me a stupid : Get Widget at my widget affiliate . Which one should i use ? Good and bad about them ? Looking everywhere but dont have much of information ...

I don't use amazon a lot nor ebay (just ofr selling, not affilliate), but I used amazon for direct linking, so I am not sure about their widgets.
 
Im new here . I'm working at toys - hobbies niche , is there any good PPC/affiliate system which should i use other than Amazon and Ebay ?

How do you still use amazon for direct linking? I was looking yesterday and everywhere I looked said that Amazon banned linking from Google adsense (Direct linking)..right?)

I used Amazon for direct lniking before via Yahoo Answers.
