Amazon Niche Site SEO Advice NEEDED

Hey BHW members,


Two and a half monts ago I fired up my first amazon niche site and tried to do my best in terms of on-site SEO. Since then, traffic slowly started to increase week by week and I even made a few sales on my site which really motivated me to invest some more time & money into it.

I think it's time to do some proper SEO but I really lack the experience to choose from hundreds of services and packages from the BHW marketplace and I really don't want to bash my site to death with backlinks but I don't want to buy some service that won't affect my rankings either.

Target keywords are between positions 60 and 100 in google and I get around 5-15 UVs a day which I am not really satisfied with.

So, what services / methods / would you recommend for me? What would you do in my position?

Any advice is really appreciated!

You can try optimizing your website first with keywords aim for an amazon site. I would choose keywords like [product] + reviews, or best [product] or best [product] [year]. Once your on site SEO is optimized for those keywords, what I would do next is manually create some quality web2.0. Just keep testing and creating web 2.0s to see what is working or not.

For the keywords. I'm considering writing some more specific articles for those keywords. Do you do web 2.0s yourself or would you suggest some nice service for that? I really prefer outsourcing (at least for the first time) if I can trust a service provider.

Well i really think you should do it other way around..First you do it yourself than youre ready to outsource some of your stuff..Why dont you tell us your budget it will be much easier to suggest some of the stuff you need..But be aware anything you buy for linkbuilding is not 100% safe and it could hurt your site long term

In our days, linkbuilding services are not 100% safe. Instead of spending a lot of $5 on Fiverr, check the BHW's marketplace. You can find one of the best guys here. But, as Pike222 said, it's better to start on your own

I really have no experience in term of SEO that's why I would like to see some examples (done by someone who know what he is doing) and the best way to get some I guess is if I outsource it properly.

I really can't afford to spend a lot on my site (college student problems) so I'm planning on something between 50-100$ this month and hopefully next month I can use the extra generated by the site to spend some more.

Yep, I would never even consider to use Fiverr SEO services for my money site. Could you please hook me up with some guides then? (I know search exists, just asking if you have any really good ones)

I would only outsource if I know how to do it. I personally hand make all my web 2.0, and since this will be your first time, I would hand make them.

I am in a similar position but maybe 1-2 months ahead of you. If you have your on-site seo done well then start building one or two web 2.0s yourself. Trust me its super easy. Just start throwing together a rough wordpress site with relevant articles/words. Add a page every day or so - make sure to have links pointing out and also some linking to internal pages. Create a few other internal pages first to make it look legit (contact, about, faq, etc). Add media and various types of authority links with different anchors.

Then you can buy large volume, but decent tier 2 links and drip them to your web 2.0 sites. Then once your web 2.0 starts ranking, add your main article/s that link to your money site. Doing all this work yourself will help you understand the backlinking process and also, how quality traffic funnels work. ** So now if you want to try a seo package on this forum; you know what it will take to get your money site ranked.


If you want to pm me I can recommend a few things to look for when picking a good service. BHW has plenty of quality seo packages on this forum for $100-$300. I have used a couple complete packages to start my main site on a solid link foundation. Usually these services offer some type of 20-30 stage link building service. But mainly know = to look for aged threads with high star ratings and solid reviews within.

As for my next step... buying expired domains with decent google page rank. Then these sites become part of my high quality blog network or web2.0 link network. I can now use these to help rank a few of my money sites. ----Hope this Helps -smut
