Check out georiot.com. Forget about easyazon.
Best to change your text color so everyone can read it, As many including myself have already said, there are many amazon plugins that geo target. EasyAzon does it, simple azon and prosciate. most will geotarget as long as you have amazon id's for those locales, except India as you cannot join that if you are not a resident in India>Just a question: why can't you use amazon's main site's links only? I believe it offers global coverage?
No it does not. And people who live in the UK will not buy on the US site and vice versa. You need a plugin which takes the ASIN and then geolocates it - but only for things which are available in several stores as exactly this ASIN - which really only works for Books.
Depending on your niche, find a plugin which combines location with "select a product per market". If everything fails, the backup should be the .com store rather than the .co.uk store.
Yes you are right on that note, a company as big as Amazon would make life easier for all of us if they simplified the process so one site did it allThanks for the note, I screwed up the font setting for wishing a more readable experience - should now be fixed.
Yes there are many plugins out there which allow for the geotargeting, which you need to use so you can earn money. However if you just use the amazon com link, you will NOT have the effects of automagically receiving money and it is not enough just to sign up for the US version of the store. Which was the original question of ">Just a question: why can't you use amazon's main site's links only? I believe it offers global coverage?"
One is a technical answer, the other a seller funnel answer.
