I use https://www.geni.us/ although, i'm not sure what the localized links now do on amazon, i've been meaning to have a look, to see if i can just
get the link redirected via amazon, although i don't know how good that feature is, has anyone made the switch? and is there any downside?

One link, which is theirs. Or easyazon plugin. Their onelink works well. Don't use the official plugin, it screws up sites

I prefer Amazon affiliate link Globalizer plugin offered by Wordpress. It is really wonderful as it automatically install an output filter to check for links to Amzn.com and Amazon.com. You should also go for it.

You can use Amazon Link. With that tool, it is pretty much easy to add product links to your website. It also accepts many kinds of links so it's a big help for us.
