Amazon kills sitestripe

So banners are gone, native shopping ads are gone, And now the last (easy) way to embed amazon products (while following their TOS) is now dead. The only option left for embeds is API which is certain to cut out a massive swath of affiliates. Why are they doing this? These iframes were fantastic for embedded php scripts, very sad.

Amazon is getting lazy.At least I only only use text because editing all of those pages is a nightmare.

Implementing the API for a handfull of links is fucking overkill too
