    Hi Guys!

I am Ben, 20 years old from Germany. I started going to university one year ago and it sucks. I hate learning things which I will not need 99% later in life. I love the idea of earning money on the internet with SEO and creating sites. I already have SEO knowledge and I am currently earning around 700-800€ ( that´s about 1100$ I think ) on Autopilot selling an clickbank offer. My main goal is creating a nice passive income and learning SEO.

Important information: I am sorry for my bad english, please do not hate me <3 . All sites I create are in german, just saying. So they all have little search volume.

    So what is my plan?
I will work my ass off for the rest of this year creating as many high quality amazon sites as I can. I will do all the stuff myself ( Content, SEO, Research, whatever ) and this is part of my "Ultimate Procrastination Fight" / "Get Your Ass up" / "Hard Work Pays Off" / "Insert catchy name here" project. I hope you guys keep me motivated so I can give out some Amazon coupons at the end of the year
I will make a post every day, even if I didn´t work on my sites. If I do not post in this thread one day, feel free to punch me, I will give 5€ to charity for every day I didn´t post an update here.

I will grab some sleep now! It is 2:15 PM here in Germany :10: Feel free to leave Questions, I will answer them ASAP. Will give further informations tomorrow.

    • Thanks Thanks x 5

Good luck man, I really hope you succeed in this journey! Are you doing all of the seo by yourself or are you having someone else do it?

Good luck, especially after such a radical decision to qjit university when you haveb't invented Facebook or some thing :D

Just kidding, I wish you well on your journey, and as you said, motiaävation is the key. You need that to learn more and learning more leads to better sites and hopefully sales. Best of luck.

good luck man. I quit uni too. was paying over £3k a year for the teachers to not turn up and when they did they would just read from the powerpoint. university is just money making at the expense of the students

will be watching this journey closely

I will do all the SEO on my own! It may take some time, but I do not want to build churn & burn sites, I want to build long term amazon sites. Someone else doing my SEO is a high risk because you never know what they do and it is possible that they f*ck up your whole site. One additional point is that you can´t compare the "German SEO" to the SEO you guys are doing, most tools do not really work for the German market. All SEO I do will be manual! One thing I will look into though is creating my own PBN!
It is not really radical, seriously. You can not really compare the university in Germany to America or whatever.
    1. We do not have to pay money ( only ~500 per year )
    2. If you quit you still can come back
    3. You still can get a job without having an degree from university if you have experience in the job field you choose.

This is mainly a decision because I feel it is a waste of time to go to university every day. The things you learn here in Germany are really old school and there is no study path that contains any courses about Online Marketing, and that is what I want to do for a job. I want to have my own business, I do not need a degree, because nobody needs to hire me , except me!

Thanks for your input Guys! I will post some Information about my Sites later to show you guys where I am at at the moment, have a nice day

    Where I am at today:

    Amazon Site 1: Pool niche
    Revenue last month: 0
    Revenue this month: 0,68 € ;)
This is not a niche that will make me money in the next months! The keyword has a search volume around 30k in the sommer month and costs between 100-200€ but I was not able to rank this site in time. It currently sits on page 2 and I will let it sit there till next year and push it to first page then to cash in!

    Amazon Site 2: Baby niche
    Revenue last month: 19,31 €
    Revenue this month: 0,00 €
Sold one 499€ and one 117,64€ product and some random low cost products. This site is kind of complete, but I need to do some SEO on it.
It is currelty ranking 4 for the Keyword ( 6600 searches ) and 3 for Keyword + test ( 210 searches ). The Top 3 on this niche are really hard but I hope to get there in the long term. Products range from 100€ up to 700€.

    Amazon Site 3: Baby niche
    Revenue last month: 0,00 €
    Revenue this month: 0,00 €
Did my basic keyword research and put up some basic content, did not post any reviews yet. Products are fairly cheap ~ 25€.

    Amazon Site 4: Hair product
    Revenue last month: 0,00 €
    Revenue this month: 0,00 €
I only put on some basic content, did not publish any reviews though yet. It is a low cost product ranging from 20-50€ and I hope this site is kind of easy to rank. Will work on Amazon Site 3 first though.

In Total Amazon Revenue (All Sites )
    Last month: 46,91 €
    This Month: 8,05 €

    What I have in addition:
    • An Amazon theme which automatically checks if the amazon prices changed
    • Long Tail Pro
    • Excel File with ~2000 keywords ( keywordxyz + test ), I hope there are some nuggets in it
    • Hosting
    • A PBN with 5 Domains for the Baby niche
    • Ranktracker

    Thanks man! Stay tuned

Thanks for your input! I guess everyone has a different point of view on this topic and I accept that.
Quitting university doesn´t mean I quit forever. The thing is I want to try my best in Online Marketing first.
If it works, it works. If it doesnt work, I can continue with university. Here in Germany you can go back to university even when you are 62 or whatever.

I have 2 months of spare time now anyways so it is enough time to decide. Let´s just do not start a discussion on the topic because I know everyone has a different opinion on this

Good luck on your journey. A few years ago I started making amazon websites and working on them daily like you are and I finally started making some money and then amazon decides to cut off all affiliates in my state of california. I had written over 100 unique articles and created over 10 websites just for amazon products and it all was a waste of time. A year or so later I found out they had let affiliates promote their products again in my state but by that time I had let my domains expire and lost all the work.

The situation totally killed my motivation and I had no idea what to do next after that. I think I even got a shitty real job at a warehouse for a while :p Found my way back to web creation and IM and I am doing okay now. I still wonder where I would be if amazon didn't cut me off after all that work -__-

Well that sucks! Why didn´t you change the monetization? Here in Germany there are tons of partner programs besides amazon partnernet? And in the worst case scenario you still could have just use adsense to get a bit of money?

Just for Clarification: I do not want to earn a full time income with Amazon sites. I know there are tons of ways to make more money on the internet. But in my opinion Amazon sites are a good way to shape your SEO skills, learn hard work and create a long term passive income if done right.

Could you point us to the agency? Most of the theme that are available are pretty bad or haven't been updated in a long time.

This is what I would have suggested, hence the "that's a quite radical move"...

    But, keep motivated.
