I know this is not Ebay related, but I did not know where else to post this. You may of had this same problem. I got my Amazon seller account banned awhile back. I got "One" negative comment and they banned the entire account. My question is: Does anybody know of a way to set up another account. I have tried everything and can not get it to work. I get to the last screen and then get blocked.
I have tried:
Clearing cookies
New IP
New CC
Made up a name
Fake address
-Only thing I can think of is that the CC's that I have used all come back to the same address
I have a crap load of things to get rid of so I really need a new account
Have any ideas? Craigslist is easier than this :)

Please give details. How in the world can you get an amazon account banned. You are not forcing them to buy something.

Sorry troybh I worded my post wrong. What I meant to say was that my seller acct. on Amazon has been banned. The account still works if I want to buy something, but I cannot sell. They are quite strict with their rules..1 negative customer comment or if you FU an order ..basically your banned

I understand how you got banned and you can not sell stuff on amazon. I still dont know how you can get banned. You send them to amazon, they get a cookie and if they buy during the session you get reimbursed. Where in this process did you go wrong. Did you somehow fake the referal? Just wondering how it is possible to get amazon account banned.

Also I have now heard that amazon is no longer 24 hour cookie and is now only one session cookie. Seems like Amazon is bitching us out.

I think he means that he can no longer list items for sale on Amazon - I don't think that he is talking about the amazon affiliate program.

Byite your right I am not talking about the affiliate program. I can no longer sell items on Amazon...Anybody now how to set up another acct. ?
Thanks!

I've seen plenty of sellers with less than 100% positive feedback, and they're still going strong. Also, I have purchased a couple of things where the sellers really messed up, and they did not get banned (they did, however, take care of the problems in a quick and professional manner), so I think that you must have done something really wrong for Amazon to have banned you. :saint:

As for how to get a new account, I think you need the following:

- Different name (both your name and store/seller name)
- Different IP
- Different email address
- Different credit card with different name and address (don't use a fake address -- it should be the real address associated with the card)
- Different bank account not associated with your name (perhaps form an LLC and have the checks/deposits be made in the name of the LLC)
- Delete cookies
- Delete LSOs (Local Shared Objects)

I haven't tried this, so I don't know if it will work, but you could try using a Visa gift card or a pre-paid credit card registered with a nominee's name and address.

Craigslist sounds like the best option in your case (assuming that you don't have or can't get an ebay account). If your stuff isn't in high demand, then it could sit on Amazon for ages before getting sold, even if the price is really low.
