Amazon Images!

Hi All,

I have searched (perhaps not well enough) and seem to find alot of conflicting information regarding my issue.

I am looking to use Amazon Associates, have had a verified account with them for several years but never really used it, and things have changed since then. From my understanding It is against their TOS to use the images from Amazons website to promote a product on my website unless its using the API, which I cant figure out, or site stripe which feels messy to me.

I was wondering if there are any ways around this, or any good plugins for perhaps wordpress that can be used to achieve a product page, using images from the Amazon listing, or should I be using images from the suppliers website (not amazon) to accompany my affiliate link? A lot of these images happen to be the exact same images Amazon use so it's probably risky.

As you can probably tell, I am new to using Amazon Associates, and hope for some help from you wonderful lot, thanks in advance!

Just don't do it, you really need to get access to their API which really needs to get something like some conditions. If it's not that you can really buy the product and promote it making your OWN images which you OWN with your copyrights. Are you with me here for that ?

Hi man,

Pay a bhw member to buy 3 kindle books(related to your website) from amazon through your links. Cost for the books $3-$5. Give the buyer $5-$10 for the help.
After that, submit for the affiliate program and use "Content Egg", to fetch information (text/pictures) through the API you got by getting approved by Amazon after those 3 sales.

Eeasy enough, should take like 6-24 hours and then you are good to go.
