Hey Guys,

I've a query regarding Amazon Aff site guidelines.
Can i have use text similar to the one below in the product review or showing it in the pros & cons

this is the best laptop under 500$

I know mentioning exact price of a product is against their policy, what about average pricing.

Thanks in advance :)

I believe that’s fine, I’ve not had any issues either.

Only mention of specific price is against their tos as far as I know.

I would recommend pulling in the price of all products using Amazon's API in an article like that "best X under $X" to comply with this term:

your Site may only show prices and availability if: (a) we serve the link in which that price and availability data are displayed, or (b) you obtain Product pricing and availability data via PA API and you comply with the requirements regarding use of PA API in the License[/URL].

technically, with a "best X under $X" article, you are showing a price range, which is still a price.

I haven't personally had any bans but have heard anecdotal evidence of affiliate accounts being penalised for using vague prices even in "under $X" articles or using $/$$/$$$ to denote price bands.

Thank You all for your responses.
I've seen a website which is showing button with pricing, the price is fetched from Amazon API.

Can anyone tell me how exactly to use the API on a wordpress site. Are there any plugins available?

There is official Amazon plugin, I think it's "Amazon Associates – Official Link Builder"

There are also few that Amazon recommends:

There is also .com version of this can't find it, but you'll be able to find more info based on that.
