Founder of Ethereum blockchain Joseph Lubin calls it is a "heavy duty" move.

5 HOURS AGO: Amazon teams up with startup Kaleido to help AWS clients more easily use transaction-recording tech using blockchain technology, joining recent efforts by Facebook and Microsoft.

I don't think so. They are already in trouble with US Gov. It seems like Trump hates Amazon. If any coin offering done by Amazon, it would be a legal nightmare for them

When you are as big as Amazon, everything is a legal nightmare--but money solves all sins.

Amazon is a very creative and innovation company.
No wonder the CEO #1 billionaire.

From just "ebay" type of website, they do server renting service(AWS), kindle, courier delivery, gift card, and so many things.

And now this?

This is era of crypto guy! Everyday I see big company start to jump into this field.

I smell trillion marketcap in no time!

This crypto thing gonna create so many millionaire and billionaire in the future.

Becoming the "everything" store is Amazon's dream, but it's not unique in that. Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft are more than tech companies--they all have ambitions to become "everything companies".

In the past, US was able to break up big oil, big railway, big telecom, big banks....but breaking up big tech will likely be the most difficult.
