Q: With your hosting company you can chose Linux or Windows. Does wordpress only run with Linux ?

what is the difference between linux and windows (when choosing hosting?)

Hi Batty,
I can answer your questions.
First WP can be run on windows and unix(linus for servers)The differences between windows and unis:
- Unix hosting will run faster.
- Windows hosting is cheaper.
Get attention that shared hosting are resource limited.
You will have cpu usage limit, ram limit and shared IP.
If you want to invest in your IM business just buy VPS.

That always happens to these types of threads. Fact is, no method can be repeated _exactly_ by anyone else. There are always limiting or unquantifiable factors.

Otherwise we'd all be millionaires by following exactly the same steps.
