Thank you :)

Hi Perc30

Have you experience in selling stuff online?
Which amazon market do you plan to target? (US, EU, India, Japan)?
This question might sound strange :

Why do you think its a good idea to sell on amazon?

to answer your questions

the investment depends on the products you would like to get and how competitive the category is in which your product belongs.

Amazon FBA is not "get rich quckly" it will take a huge amount of effort, patients and will power to learn and succeed.
Everyone who tells you otherwise either expects knowledge in this area or does not know what he is talking about.

Yes, of course it is possible.

Just do not listen to those YouTube heros who try to sell you helium10 affiliate etc and tell you how easy it is.

If it would be easy everyone would do it right?

There are many VA on Fiverr for FBA.Are they worth it. Any good gig for product research?

Honestly Amazon FBA is not really popular on here and I think there's a reason to that... It fucking sucks.

Try dropshipping or another business model where at least you're in control of your own website.

For Amazon FBA private label you will need 20K to start with. Most of the money will be going towards marketing and inventory. For Amazon wholesale you can start from 1k to 3k.

What is amazon wholesale?

What is amazon wholesale?

There are two business model in Amazon. One is private labelling and the second one wholesale. In private label you need 15 to 20k to start. Whole sale model you become a reseller of other brands.

No you don’t

My first private label product I ordered 100 pcs for £1.5k with shipping to my door.

You can start with much less than 20k

1.5k£ is just product cost? Wat about other expenses like listing, shipping, storage, seo, etc. How much it takes for end to end to test 1-2 product.

Storage you don’t need, you can get your product to your home or temporary location and send it straight to amazon

seo you don’t need, you got ppc on amazon which still won’t add to 20k

testing products upto 20k I’m sure you would have a winner way before that like I said I’ve spent 1.5k on a product and it’s a hit

you lot have been doing it wrong if your spending 20k

lol you obviously don't know or just chatting bull, Amazon FBA has changed a lot recently. Gone are the times where you can simply send from China straight to Amazon FBA.

I do full time Amazon FBA and eBay on the side. Amazon now they have come up with Amazon IPI ratings in which they limit your storage you can use with Amazon.
Amazon FBA is moving away from becoming a storage facility but rather a fulfillment place in which they want fast selling goods to be sent to their warehouse and sold quickly, and yh also if you sell out of the good your IPI gets affected as well.

Trust me, Amazon FBA is very very difficult for people that before used to order from China straight to Amazon FBA centre.
It is best to have your own warehouse now.

I think you’ve misread what I said you clown.
Coming here with your 1 post count raging.

I never stated you send straight from china to amazon.
I own warehouse units in the uk and even if you get a small storage facility you can rent one for less than 1k for the month.
More than enough space to fit your stock if it’s large goods.
If it’s small items you can keep it in your home thus saving rent

ive been doing fba for 5 years and ebay for 10+

Don’t knock someone’s hope telling them they need 20k to start with. We've all had to start somewhere.

Just because I got 1 post count don't mean I come here lurking...
Fair enough but you have to be realistic, I also own warehouse in UK mate, you can import from China to UK with £1.5k but you have to be realistic, we both know you can only make it in Amazon and eBay if you import containers which can cost between £10k-20k so yh importing goods worth £1.5k wont do anything good for you, especially from China.

puma123 actually made the best point in this whole thread and recommend the OP with th best option which is for him to purchase for Wholesale and sell under the seller's amazon listing.

You can sell the OP a dream by saying he can do private labeling with FBA for £1.5K but that is straight up lie, especially like I mentioned know with these new IPI ratings, and if you have been doing this for 10 years then you really should know better...

OP can certainly go the wholesale purchase route and sell himself.
I have receipts for what I talk and I dont need to prove anybody. Its worked for me, it can or may not work for anybody else but im certainly not lying.
Networking goes a mile in this and any business.

Also would like to add that 1.5k was just one figure for one of my private label products. which was less than moq. I don't agree with the 20k.
OP may need around 5k since they are new and doing things right off the bat. Alternative cheaper route would be to purchase in wholesale ofcoure.

Anyways don't mean to have a go or be on the wrong end with you as we have our own views and ways of doing things.
Wish you the best
