Amazon & Ebay- Busniess Question

Im looking to start an Amazon & Ebay Business. I want to just sell from my home. I was wondering do I need to register a business name and get a business account number.

Ill probably have to register for a tax id number as well. Just wondering if you need all this when starting an amazon & ebay business thanks.

Also i'll be doing this in Canada plus shipping to USA (maybe Uk and Australia).

You dont need business account unless u are planning to resell something from wholeseller. Which these days if u sell more than $500 , u need to report (in usa).

What mrlawless said, and to add to that - if you were to get a business account it can be beneficial because you would be able to deal with manufacturers and distributors and receive wholesale prices on products.

It won't take you too long to get all of that handled. I'm working with manufacturers now.

No you do not need a Business Account or worry about anything like that until you reach a much higher level.
Now as wholesale is concerned take a look in the Dropshipping and Wholesale hookups section for a decent supplier.

Wholesale yes...the IRS is always watching (Big Brother in America). I'd check with a fellow professional if you're doing things on a grander scale.

dont need a business account in this if u were to get a business account it can be beneficial because you would be able to deal with manufacturere.u just also use the business information for that.
