Hello mates , I am on my Amazon affiliate journey , started just half a week . I wonder how much is on average your (page view -- Amazon click ratio) indicator ? I mean not conversion (that smn bought products ) but how much % of your page visitors actually click the buy now link ? I know it depends on many factors , but just want to get an avg number . That will help my estimations. Thank u very much

You cannot get an avg as it totally depends on the niche, the quality of traffic... If I have a fitness site and offering links of supplements and got some bodybuilders that are willing to buy supplements so I will get even a 20% convertion rate.

But if I have a shitty website with some random article and putting babies toys with woman shoes Amazon links lol I guess I'll get a 0.01% convertion rate.

I would say roughly 10% CTR for my specific tech niche site.

I get around 5-8% conversion rate for electronics and tech niche.

10% conversion rate ? (Clicks to sales)
And how much is the other metric
As you asked for click-through rate, I wrote my CTR which is roughly 10% for me (% of people who come to my site and click on some amazon affiliate link on my site). I didn't say this is conversion percentage. The conversion rate is much lower as you would expect.

hmm. that appears to be pretty small

I am an affiliate on Amazon and selling digital cameras. I got 1500+ clicks on my Amazon affiliate links from my twitter account but did not get any sale. Could anyone please explain it? Thanks in advance.

Twitter account is a very bad source for the traffic anyway. There is no buyers, people go to Twitter to read short notes and read some short news and post theirs, not to buy things. As for the topic starter question - well, you can expect upto 10% I would say from clicks to sales as well.

You have mentioned you are selling digital cameras on your affiliate account. Please make sure your listed digital camera is highly ranked for any sales. You can check the amazon product rank on your listing page.
