Can Canadians or international sellers sell on the .com site? The Canadian site is very limited to what can be sold it seems.

Last i checked it was asking me for a bunch of business info in the USA..

thanks.

I have just registered to sell on Amazon, and also asked for some insight into obtaining info regarding this. Unfortunately no-one was too helpful. This has been my experience over the last couple of days.

I registered to sell in a specific category that needed prior approval, you will see that some of the categories require this. I was approved to sell in the category applied for, however the response I got back from Amazon was that I needed a US bank account, a US mailing address, a US based credit or debit card and a US telephone.

This really did not make sense to me as the supplier I am using is based in NY in the US, although I am based in Europe. I completed the application and was registered, however I need to get a US bank account if I want the funds to be paid across, so I am busy investigating this requirement now. (I used my European address and telephone number - now its just the bank account.)

Hope that helps.

:)

Yes you can,

I am a Canadian based seller.

The only requirement for non-US based sellers is to have a US checking account in order for Amazon to pay you.
