Amazon.com - I Backordered on Who.is for $49.95

Guys, I want to start my own ecommerce website. Today when I was analyzing the competition, I saw Amazon booked their domain till October 31, 2022.

I backordered it by paying $49.95 on who.is. Does it mean I will get the domain ownership of it in 2022?

I want it badly. Till then, I'll create my own brand meanwhile.

Go for Facebook and Google as well!

With the ownership of Facebook, you would be able to drive INSANE amount of social traffic to your site and once you acquire the ownership of Google, you can place your site at the #1 spot for all the keywords! No need to worry about SEO or whatsoever!

You might as well of thrown your $49 at a homeless drunk because you've pissed it up the wall either way.....

Do you really think amazon would let anyone have their domain? Or even let it expire at all?

I think it could be a troll too, well I hope it is. Nonetheless...

Backordering means the registrar will try to buy the domain on your behalf as soon as it comes available. There are no guarantees, especially when you do something as senseless as backordering Amazon.com.
 
Yea, you ll deff get it but you ll need to hand it over to amazon for free
 
Looks like you're going to own amazon in 2022 OP. Keep it up and do google, facebook and even youtube as well

Backordering means the domain registrar will "try" to get the domain when it becomes "available" and there's no guarantee(s). Now let me ask you this, do you REALLY think Amazon will forget to renew their domain? Even if the 1 in a billion chance happened where they did and you did acquire the domain, trust me, you'll be wishing you didn't after their 3,000 attorneys/lawyers were taking you to court. I can tell you now that you just threw $50 away. I wonder how many other idiots out there (Not calling you an idiot OP) have backordered Amazon, not to mention the Big G or FB. LOL It's funny seeing Newb's that get in on the scene that do these types of things. Oh wait, I can backorder and own Amazon.com? Well, I guess I'll go ahead and make a backorder for $50 for Amazon.com, I guess $50 for a multibillion dollar site isn't bad! Come on, use a little common sense.
