Those buttons are fine. He is not using any Amazon graphic nor their logo. The only graphic button with Amazon logo that you can use, are the official ones provided by them.

That's simply not true.

What I said was the reason my website was not approved initialy and was also told directly by Amazon customer support.

What I said was also directly from customer support. I quote:

"Christopher: You may use images or buttons that we've provided or your own. If you use your own then you may not include any of our registered marks or logos. In the case where you're stating something along the lines of "Buy now at Amazon.com" it will be fine, just do not use the graphical logo for Amazon.com or attempt to recreate the design of that logo."

This exactly right. Somewhere on the help section of Amazon associates, they have a page with 6 or so buttons you can use directly on your site. They are absolutely hideous buttons that look like they were designed in 1995 and after looking through 500+ affiliate sites in my study, I did not find a single site using their ugly ass buttons.

A plain button that stats [ buy on Amazon ] or [ Buy Now ] is your best bet, and leave it at that. Do not even consider grabbing their logo from somewhere on the web and using it anywhere on your site. Interestingly, there is one major affiliate site using the amazon logo on an ad, and they've even modified it by adding a word in front of it. Two BIG no-nos. Of course, they continue to operate without penalty and have had this same ad for years, so go fucking figure.

I have seen and I have been using aawp plugin for over 1year now and have had created my own button in the past before this plugin to redirect traffic.

No problems at all.

But yes when then they close account they don't give exact reason . you ask them 10 times and there will be dirrent answers .. That means they will never reinstate the closed accounts. I had lost one account which had more than 150k Indian rupees pending comissions. But they closed for very fake reason that I ordered products for myself. But in reality I have never ordered anything for myself or my friends ever. The other two said I am sending traffic from Facebook. If fb traffic is not allowed , why the hell they have fb and Twitter sharing option in strip at top?
Third rep says your site is not compatible... I wonders they came to know the compatibility of my site after issuing me 15/17 payments and all of a sudden my site became incompatible.

So I heard multiple answres and lost my money.

Now the other new accounts are okay till date.

Amazon must pay your eligible commission, If you added any payment method and Completed TAX Exam. Nothing to Worry...

When I first Created My Account, I made $0.65 for 1 Sell. They Paid that in Time After Closing My Account.

This is height man.. How they can pay without reaching payment threshold ??
