My god, it's a GREAT time of year to be an Amazon affiliate! This is by far the biggest christmas I've ever had on amazon... people are spending crazy amounts of money.

The #1 stat that I track is earnings per click that I send to Amazon, and it's up literally almost 5-fold on the same time last year!

I would imagine that this statistic is helped by Amazon being launched in other countries that it wasn't active in before and mainly because of all of that PR done on the Amazon delivery drones just before the Christmas spending spree. Very clever marketing by Amazon!

cool , how you did it mind to share with us...

for my case..yes ..early dec can get quite a lot of sales....but recently...some days don't..and some days just only one sales...

noticed my clicks getting less...as I never changed the way how i promote..or the products..which i promoted...

The commission you earn (they call it advertising fees) depends on the total number of sales (not the dollar amount) and ranges from about 4% on the low end up to around 8% on the high end. I guess most affiliates are in the 6-7% bracket.

The actual percentage does change during the year, but with consumer spending increasing massively and Amazon's ability to cross-sell and up-sell, Christmas is a good period, with this year being particularly good (for me, at least).
