Amazon check clearance time

I just earn $154 from amazon with help of ppc(bing for $25). So my question is how many days it take to clear the check for Indian bank
I search in google that it take total 60 days. Is it true ?

It take 30 days for receiving check in India then extra 30 days for clearing. Do my bank sent that check again to US bank for clearing ?

As i have been told that check clearing takes only few days in india..

I search same forums everybody says it takes minimum 60 days. too bad
 
You will get the check after 60 days, since Amazon have 60 day trash hold, but once you get the check it should get cleared in 7-15 working days after you deposit. Depends on the back though. So, I suggest you ask your bank how much time it will take to get cleared, cos they know better about this.
 
Why not use direct deposit? and yes it will take you 60 days to receive the check after you met your threshold.

Cause in India they issue checks from India. thats why it take max 7 days. If you are same country it take max 7 days from issued date. Its deliver by google payment team in/from same country.

cause I am from India amazon does not support outside direct deposit.
 
Adsense cheque take just 1-2 days to clear because cheque currency is in INR, where as amazon cheque is in $ i guess, so it may take 20-30 days to clear.
 
Amazon will send you the cheque in USD after 60 days of the current month end.

Then you will need to deposit the cheque in your local indian bank for clearing ( ensure that you visit the branch and deposit it there - do not drop it at ATM cheque collection )
Some banks have different process for cheque drawn in foreign currencies.

It will take around 30 days to clear the cheque and the deposit to appear in your bank account.

Amazon is not going to send your check till after 60 days, these enable them to calculate your true earnings in case of any refund.

Shipping to your country should take 30 days or more if you are using the free shipping, the expedite should be around 14 days or so.

Clearing at your bank, i don't know...

So sum it up..

Amazon takes 60 days, check shippment 30 days, clearing --- .....Should give you a rough estimate..

The clearance time of the Amazon check will be related to your local bank, rather than the drawing bank. The drawing bank (Amazons bank) will give an answer via SWIFT (yes, I know it's not a bank transfer, but they still use SWIFT for messaging internationally RE check clearance) within 24 hours or less, and your bank will have that answer immediately.

However, and this is the big 'however', checks are not secure, and for that reason many banks will hold off crediting an international check for 30, 60, or even 90 days, to allow for any issue (fraud allegation, etc) to present itself.
Checks CAN be reversed by the drawing bank, by sending a late dishonor notice, hence the waiting time is increased by your local bank until the time window for a late dishonor has expired. If your bank has credited you in the meantime, and then receives a late dishonor and the money is no longer in your account, they have nowhere to get it from, and they end up wearing the cost of the dishonor.
