Nothing changed on my niche, still at 3% hopefully it won't go down.
This. They do this because of their Prime Day promotion as an incentive for affiliates. Looks like this is their new model - low basic commission rates that get temporarily increased for special occasions now and then. Thanks for nothing
At least the Amazon sites in EU/UK still have the better rates.

Amazon was good source, but after the update, its dead aff program for me. Stop sending traffic to Amazon, my 2 cents.
