I have Googled and Googled and it keeps leading me back here. I am new to these forums and lost. I do not sell on Amazon, so I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place. Other threads just led me here. I had my Amazon buyer account get closed yesterday. I use Amazon weekly and I have had a lot of returns in the past 2 months. I had 8. 3 pair of shoes, 1 motherboard that didn't work, 1 package that was marked "undeliverable", 2 pair of jeans, and an item that was missing from the package. It was a bad run. I have been using Amazon for a few years and never had that many issues. I blamed the holiday season and my sudden choice to try to buy clothing items for my wife and daughter on the internet! I have been to the mall with her - should have known online was a mistake! Anyhow, I have disputed over e-mail and been denied. Same old story of customer service won't talk to me. All they respond with is the same boiler plate e-mails you see people posting with. Frankly, I have no digital content and had only 1 month left on Prime. I just want to know how I can create a new account without getting caught. I do not want to fight over e-mail for days - I just want to still be able to buy cheap electronics and those 5 things I can't find in retail (Amazon starts charging my state tax beginning tomorrow) From what I have read, everyone seems to say: Different Name Different PC Different E-mail Different Mailing address What about the cards I use to purchase with? Do they need to be different as well? My wife has an account that seems unaffected. If push comes to shove, I could just use her account - but I hold the credit cards. I can call and get new ones but that is a huge hassle. Can you guys help me with what I need to know? I know the above info applied to a seller account - how do things work with a buyer account? I appreciate any information people can give. I have seen all the eBooks and videos out there regarding this, but I am very hesitant to buy into those. A lot of places call them scams. Thanks for your time.
