So i tried ebay for the last 2 years and kept generating some type of profit but always end up with getting banned and decided to start amazon while i don't have a single clue on how things work there . i would like for someone to break it down for me as much as possible if you would

Bro, I was in your exact same position 18 months ago — multiple eBay stealth accounts dead, tired of the bans, zero clue about Amazon. Now I’m doing 6-figures a year on one clean Amazon account. Here’s the real 2025 beginner roadmap (no fluff, no private-label/dropshipping garbage that gets you suspended week 1).

1. Forget everything you did on eBay. Amazon is a completely different beast. They will suspend first and never answer appeals. Treat your first account like it’s made of glass.

2. Start with a Professional Seller account only ($39.99/mo). Individual is useless.

3. Documents (2025 they check HARD):
– Real utility bill (exact name + address match)
– Payoneer bank (US routing) works perfectly from Pakistan/India/etc.
– CNIC or passport
– Real phone number (not TextNow garbage)

4. ONLY do Retail Arbitrage or Online Arbitrage for the first 6 months.
Why? Zero gating issues, zero IP complaints, zero invoice problems.
- Go to local stores or Walmart/Target online → buy clearance stuff that’s 2-3x on Amazon.
- Tools you need (all have free trials):
• Keepa (must)
• Amazon Seller App (free scanning)
• SellerAmp or ScoutIQ for faster scanning

5. First 90-day rules (follow these or die):
- Only sell in ungated categories (Toys, Grocery, Home & Kitchen, Pet, Beauty is sometimes open)
- Never touch Nike, Adidas, Lego, Disney, Apple etc. without approval
- Always buy from legitimate retailers and keep receipts
- Ship to Amazon within 3-5 days max
- 0 late shipments, 0 customer complaints, 0 policy warnings

6. Week-by-week plan that actually works:
Week 1: Open account + get verified (1-7 days)
Week 2: Download Keepa + Amazon Seller app → practice scanning at home
Week 3: Spend $500-1000 → buy 15-30 items with at least 50-100% ROI after fees
Week 4: Ship your first batch to FBA → first payout 14 days later

7. Once you have 50-100 feedback and 3-6 months old account, then you can slowly move to wholesale or private label.

Real talk: If you keep doing the shady stuff that got you banned on eBay, Amazon will kill you in under 30 days. Play 100% clean for 6 months and you’ll never have to worry about stealth again.

Amazon is mostly about selling legit products, good listings and keeping your account healthy. Start small pick a product, source it reliably, list it with clear photos descriptions, handle customer service fast.

sounds like a solid idea to use merch but out there are some creative people i just feel like they deserve it better lol

mostly china i moved here to do dropshipping i got whole lot of contact

can you elaborate more on what may flag you specially that i can't use FBA for the moment
 
You didn't specify what kind of products you want to sell.
Without more information we can't give you any practical advice.
 
well mostly seasonal wtv goes with each season we are in yk since its winter i was thinking heaters etc etc.....
 
Start on Amazon by learning seller policies and choosing a profitable niche use FBA for logistics and monitor metrics closely to avoid bans

It is so hard. You should focus on the product you want to sell first, after that you can choose target audience. Trending items do not give you a steady income
