amazon banned for direct linking :(

It has come to our attention that you are attempting to artificially increase your advertising fee earnings by automatically redirecting users to the Amazon site via an intermediate site from search engine results. This is a direct violation of the Operating Agreement to which you agreed when registering for the Program, which prohibits Associates from causing any page of the Amazon Site to open in a customer's browser other than as a result of the customer clicking on a Special Link on their site. bad tracking bad conversions i wonder if anyone success with them

yeah conversion is very bad for me too, 200 clicks 0 sale -,-

Yea their tracking is pretty lame, but with it being holiday time I am running good numbers with them right now.

Can you pls clarify a bit more. You mean visitors clicked on a site in organic search engine listings and that page just redirected to Amazon.
There was no landing page.

Anyways, now you can change the links to similar products in CJ.

I have a couple alternatives that I also use (not egay) if you want to PM me with what you were promoting.

yes but amazon has all types of plugsins you can use on WP sites... CJ and those others dont imo

That's why you got banned. Amazon doesn't allow the redirection stuff anymores, as people used to make big bucks with it and they weren't making enough revenue cause the affiliates were making so much money. They have pixel trackers on each of their links now so people actually have to CLICK on the links or on a link in an iframed store for you to get commission. Be smart about how you go about promoting Amazon products. Try writing an article on your blog and use the quick linker widget.
