Hi,

I came across this Facebook page when researching monetising my Facebook page.

http://www.facebook.com/CommunistCloset

He has an Amazon aStore as an app on the page. But he only has 500 likes so I'm guessing he's not making a fortune!

I want to do the same on my Facebook page but I was just wondering if it would violate Facebook's terms and conditions!

The problem is that my likes are worldwide and Amazon's affiliate program isn't, so I was going to use a different affiliate program, make it look like a store and iFrame it into an app.

What do you think?

If he did it, seems like FB is okay with it. There are a ton of apps that can create widgets for your FB page, but they are notorious for not allowing commercialism of any kind without going through the FB advertising program. Without buying an ad app (like website marketplace ad) it's doubtful that you could go much further without getting shut down. FB Police are Rabid:rocketwho

Yeah, I thought it was a bit iffy. I don't really want to jeopardise my site because I've put a lot of work into it. I think I'll stick with the tried and tested methods of redirecting the traffic to my website and selling from there.
