Amazon now allows you to shorten a affiliate product link (amazon com/gp/product/B004S8F7QM/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creat ive=9325&creativeASIN=B004S8F7QM&linkCode=as2&tag= xxxxxxxxxxxx&linkId=FEOP2WB3CRHZAYYQ) to amzn.to/xxxxx I never knew about this until i payed attention to the "New Link Building Browser Extension" banner at the top of the dashboard. I Didn't think amazon liked it when you did exactly what this extension does. Has anyone here shorten their urls to amzn.to and posted it to sites that doesn't work with the extension? I have a few ideas in my head. One idea is to see if i can match a product with a trend, then i would search sites (forums and other social sites) using hootsuite and other tools with a keyword discussing that tend and be like "oh yeah, i used that product. I purchased it at amazon (amzn.to/xxxxxxx) and i apaslotely love it! Can anyone see a problem with this? I wouldn't think it would be against amazons tos, because they are basically giving you the tool to do it with, but i want to take it beyond the sites in the extension. I would ask live amazon chat, but those ppl don't know their ass for a hole in the ground. They once told me i couldn't use amazon product images to promote amazon products.
