My first time venturing into this. I've just set up an account, and testing out inserting some images into my articles that contain affiliate links. See attached.

1) Is image an OK way to do this? Or is it better to do text and image?
2) How do I centre the image?

Better to have text with images. I will also suggest to add multiple products in slider.

Thanks, this makes sense to me. I can do this.

How do I set up a slider with multiple products?

I'm looking for a guide on BHW about how to set things up, plugins to use, etc. Can't seem to find it, unless I'm not looking in the right places...

Check product linking section you will find Native shopping ads option there. From there you can create search and custom ads which comes in slider with images.

That image alone is not going to give you a great CTR. Design quickly a nice "Click here to check best price" button and put it right below the image.

In my opinion sliders or amazon ads suck. It's much better for conversion to just show single products which you describe/review on the text.

When you insert the picture in article, you have option to align it center. I would suggest that you make your Image of bigger size and make a Buy Now button below the same.

Your main goal on amazon affiliate sites is to get visitors to amazon. So u need to make images as attractive as possible with good placement. Putting image to left and without any additional call-to-action is pure waste.

In my own opinion, an image with a creative “call-to-action” text would actually help increase your link’s CTR. I don’t think sliders would be attractive at all.
