Starting to make some decent money from Amazon affiliate traffic. No presell or anything just affiliate paint by numbers they're looking for products or reviews and click through to my Amazon link. But I've started a side project dropshipping on Amazon at 30%+ margins and I've seen Shopify/WooCommerce stuff at 100%+ margin. Curious about dropshipping from Amazon and setting a margin rather than settling for their low commission. You'd sell less due to trust via Amazon. Wouldn't get the credit for buying extra stuff. Would have to handle orders (I build automation stuff so this one wouldn't bother me too much but I'd have to get someone to deal with returns). But on the flipside a 50% margin beats the 4% you get for some categories. Not to mention fairly instant payment (just PayPal holds for disputes at this point) instead of the waiting period with their affiliate scheme. Anyone tried this?
