Amazon Associates on Facebook?

Hi all,

has anyone had success posting Amazon Associates affiliate links on their Facebook company page and actually earning some revenue from that?

I ask because I've heard that Twitter has really low engagement/click-thrus on almost any kind of link. Has FB been more successful for anyone? Please share.

I have tried it and it really doesnt generates much revenue.

So what HAVE people actually had success with, using Amazon Associates? Anything?

For any affliates program to work,leave alone Amazon, razor sharp targeting and user engagament is required.In most cases, this can be only realized via organic traffic looking to purchase something.

I think that's a little extreme. Surely people have had some success w/ Amazon Associates

Yes, I have generated some revenue with amazon and facebook but with just viral video product and amazon link.

Am looking to buy amazon.com associate account that has generated a bit of sales, pm me your price if interested

Yes I have had some success but I am in dealing in groups - some I own and some I just participate in. The products that I post are super targeted to the discussion and I am very careful about when I choose to use it so I am not spamming groups. Nevertheless, when I do choose to leave a link I tend to see a nice little sum from it (not anything to write home about for many people here but for me it is progress to my monthly earnings goal). I do not see the same type of engagement with my FB page as I do within groups. With Twitter I have a few hobbies that I am heavily involved in where again I have built up a reputation so I see some results there but not as much as with Facebook.
