amazon associates affiliate program links

Im signed up with amazon affiliate program, However they only have html banners and links to add to website, I want to add a link to a product via email/or message system. Here is a sample of an amazon link will this work? I have already tested it out and it goes right to the product page, but will leaving the rest of the code out mean I wont get paid if someone clicks and buys that product with the link above. Thanks for your help. I added the snapshot of the sample link just to make sure everyone knows Im not here to promote anything, im just needing advise.</p>

This will work. It's what I do, and I still get credit. You did not highlight your entire affiliate ID in the pic, though. You stopped before the end quotes. Also, I believe sending affiliate links in emails may be against Amazon's TOS. You might want to check.

Use the Amazon Site Strip's "Link to this page" button to get Affiliate Link to products.
