Amazon Associates account TERMINATED!

Okay the reason why I ask is because when you are having 5 sales a day, the red flag will not be so quick when 1 link comes from another traffic source. But when you have 5 sales per months and 1 comes from different platform it is 20% wrong... You know what I mean?
I had on average 50 sales / day, and the traffic source is from different sources but I believe that Pinterest is the reason for wich my account was banned. That is the only place where the link was not visible but hidden behind a picture.

As far as I know, pinterest links are displayed above the comments when image is opened. I think users might be clicking on photo suggestions or search results that lead them to Amazon but are returning immediately as they never intend to purchase anything. This is a little tricky and difficult to avoid.

Next time use the shorten links from amazon, not bitly or others.
I got ban for using it . U know the amazon on top , yes there is an option to share to twitter , etc using their shorten url.
I always use their one and for no reason also got ban. My 300++ gone just like that.

Try opening a new account, but before that, remove all of the bad links in pinterest.

First I'm waiting for an answer to see if they will not reinstate my account. If not I will create a new one and hope they will not be able to link the new accout to the old one.

I wrote the an email to try to recover my account. Do you think I have any chance?

yes of course they can reinstate your account it happened to me. But your website has to be super clean, following all their TOS. Sometimes you think everything is right whereas a little thing can be out of their TOS.
Also for those saying droping affiliate links on youtube is safe, think twice. It depends on your content (automated or thin or misleading content will induce a ban). It's not as simple as saying "if other youtubers do it then I'm fine". They are fine until amazon review their account... Good luck mate

I believe that the reason why I got banned is because of posting links on Pinterest.

This would be exactly why you got the hammer.

About 3/4 of pinterest users are on mobile devices. And just like Instagram and Snap all external links open in their in-app browser which is basically a popup iframe. So technically you are dropping a session cookie without the users actually visiting Amazon.com.

They think you're cooking stuffing which is pretty much the case, albeit unintentionally.

I understand but I made a research and everyone was saying that Pinterest is safe for affiliate links. I even added Pinterest as a source of traffic in my affiliate account.

Hi Mate,

My apologies on the ban-hammer.

Masking of your social media account in exchange for clicks is strictly prohibited.

Cheers,
Commoner

is your account is new?. I got ban from my brand new account when i use shorten link to product in youtube Desc

Do you plan to create a new account?
Do you think I can use the same Payoneer payment of previous account detail without getting a ban?
At the moment I'm awaiting for a reply to my email. Maybe they will reinstate my account. After I will receive an answer I will decide what I am going to do.

Desktop traffic and mobile web traffic is probably safe as the user is redirected to Amazon externally.

But Amazon does not allow iframes and your traffic is exactly coming from a frame in Pinterests' app. Your traffic is not leaving the app, yet you are tagging their sessions. "Auto tagging sessions" is basically another way to say cookie stuffing.

Unless you are an influencer, they probably don't want you to do that. For example Adriana Lima has her Amazon page link in her IG profile. Which of course opens inside IG's browser, which is just a iframe.
