snap are working on a new tool called Snap Visual search, you point your Snapchat camera at a physical product or barcode, and press and hold on the camera screen to get started.

I thought Snapchat was losing money. Teaming up with Amazon is a definite boost.

They are losing money indeed. It's a bad investment because the audience are kids and they aren't worth much for advertisers.

This will give them resurrection and the second life. Snapchat definitely lost its position for the past few years, but Amazon on opposite. Actually I’m a little bit surprised they are choosing this type of cooperation. The most logical thing in this case for Amazon is esquire Snapchat.
