Is google trying to help amazon?

I just checked couple of niches and the first three lists (after the ton of paid ads and image ads) are Amazon! They used to be occuped by my MNS, and later by another MNS. But now all Amazon.

I thought Amazon was supposed to be easy to outrank, but now 3 on top?

Is anyone else seeing this?

They are in partnership with Amazon, that's the reason why Amazon got a boost like that - pure BS. This is their last defense against Bing (and Yahoo) + Facebook team up. Apple(some search partnership), Ebay, Twitter, ect., of course hated them too.

With the new update that wouldn't surprise me, give it some time. All this should settle back down.
