Hi, I got an idea today. I have a way to create a shortcut of amazon affiliate link on the computer desktop of a visitor so whenever they click on it the affiliate link will open if they purchase something I will get the commission. My question is amazon ban my account if i it because there is no referrer for the affiliate link. Thanks for your answers!

i think its no problem .....

No that is against amazon TOS.You are trying to make make money through adware on desktop.Sounds attractive but it will get you banned.

Would you get the shortcut on their desktop through legal means, making it clear to the visitor exactly what it is and your involvement in the Affiliate programme?

Let me tell you its not a adware actually. We have company where we help the customers to resolve their pc issue. At the same time we add shortcuts of the websites on the desktop regularly used by the user. At the same time we probe the customer what shopping website they are using we will add that affliate link as shortcut so that I can get some money!! Please confirm whether it is legal or illegal. I don't want my amazon account gets banned.

We wont tell the customer its an affiliate link but we tell the customer click on that short cut to open the amazon site directly. In this cenario I want to know is there any chance amazon can ban my account?

You could well get banned. You need to declare it's an amazon link, have a disclaimer etc. Amazon doesn't allow links in ebooks etc, just not worth risking your account for

Of course they would ban it. Why would Amazon want anything to do with your illegal activities?

Are you even aware you need to identify you are an affiliate ("we are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.")?

Amazon need know where the clicks are coming from that made the sales before paying you .Amazon doesn't want their brand associated with anything shady or illegal.

I am new in this field I am not aware of most of the thinks. I there any way that I can make the click is coming from a website in the customer pc like some kind of blackhat.

Create desktop shortcut to your website instead of amazon.A real website that comply with Amazon's TOS.

so basically when someone pays you to fix their computer, you install a virus on their computer?
