It will work. But adsense is not a good idea for Amazon Affiliate website.

last time I does have this thoughts , BY RIGHT Should spereate come doing Affliates and adsense . Most people will have two sites , one is for adsense one is for Afflaite
same for drop shipping site. ecom , is not wise to put Adsense ad on it because people will click the ad if they happen to see a thing they like etc
will leave your site before purchase or look around.
for me I does mix dropship with adsense but the result is mix , i does have sales on drop ship but not always partly I never use ad just free traffic
adsense wise does have clicks but not much.
why I do like this since I know is " wrong" because I on tight buget , I just want to concentrate one thing . Even with just one site is not easy.
Backlinks , SEO , etc etc to push traffic for it .
imagaing you have many sties to do . I know some can managed but not me.

You're right. It's a terrible idea to mix Amazon and Adsense. However, if you put Adsense in your informational pages alone, it wouldn't hurt that much.
