amazon affiliates ,seperate or linked?

Hi,

Do you have to sign up seperately for amazon.com and amazon.co.uk affiliate programs, or is there a way to link them?

The question is, if you have an amazon link or sidebar is there a way to link them via the users ip address so that they swap dependant on country. I'm pretty sure the UK has a rougher deal than the yanks!

Also are UK residents allowed to open an USA account?

Any responses greatly appreciated!

As far as I know, you can create accounts for different countries without any problems, no matter where you reside. I got three different amazon accounts myself.
