Hey everyone,

I come offering help to those aspiring Amazon affiliates that will boost your Amazon earnings quite significantly.

A bit about me first, early last year I started out with promoting Amazon products, long story short, I was prototyping some methods and a website in preparation for a larger, grander venture, which I am now doing.

I wanted to see how well Amazon converted and investigate if it was worth incorporating into my longer term project that I and my staff were working on.

After honing a few techniques, the results were impressive, September last year was in excess of $50k, October in excess of $80k, November was in excess of $140k.

We ran this until xmas, then pulled the plug, I get asked all the time WHY!?!? Simple answer is that we were working on a much larger venture and the Amazon promoting was only short term.

As everyone is now concentrating on our longer term venture, I wanted to be able to help some AMZ affiliates in getting more for thier time. I think you could agree that I know what I'm doing when it comes to AMZ.

It's not a matter of ruffling feathers. As a Moderator, I am
always suspicious of people who offer to reveal some info
via PM. More often than not, it turns out to be an offer
to sell something without going through the proper
procedures set forth in BHW's Marketplace.

but my reasoning was you see scams here all too often by people asking members to do business via PM or other means.... next thing you know its the shitlist.

yeah I appreciate the suspision. I rarely get much time to spend on here, so its just easier if people contact me, hence the PM, or Skype AIM adds as Im always on there.

Ive helped a few people today personally too, which is also easier over IM, but, I'll post some tips that I was giving those guys.

If anyone does have any specific questions tho, or wants to talk about new ways of trying to bank on AMZ, I can usually offer good suggestions or twist up any current methods you may have.

Anyway....

1. If you arent promoting US Amazon products from amazon.com....(a lot of folks do thier home country only)...DO IT...US AMZ affiliates pay out better. If you are in a state that prevents it, find someone outside that state and offer to JV, send your earnings to them. Involves a bit of trust mind. There are also services on the web that will syndicate your earnings for you to get around this.

2. Dont promote stuff that no one buys, we rotated products on our site and ONLY listed items in the top 100 of each category. The number of times I see people selling items that are #17263 in Pet Dog Collars amazes me, no one buys it, promote sellers ONLY!

3. The best categories we found to promote are as follows
Electronics
Home and Garden
Health Beauty
Baby Stuff (converts WELL)
Sport
DVD, Music, Video games

4. If you are planning a "push" of traffic to your AMZ site, do it on Mondays if possible. Mondays for us, in both US and UK were the best banking days. Fridays are bad, sometimes half of Mondays. Weekends are usually less performing than the week.

5. Further to the above, if there is a popular sporting event on at the weekend, dont promote so hard, no one will be interested and will be watching the "game". Pick days that you push promotions carefully, as small things can affect traffic and earnings quite drastically.

6. I get asked a lot if AMZ can be black hatted. You CAN "black hat" AMZ and bank harder, but it depends on traffic quality and its `naughty`...but it works. AMZ, black hat measures dont appear to be that great, you are more likely to be banned from posted a promo on Google somewhere that you shouldnt, than black hat techniques.

7. If you are lucky enough to be earning well on AMZ, watch your conversion % and $ earnings. AMZ watch these closely, if you have a very low or high conversion, they will investigate you. If your earnings are over $20k you will again get investigated and they WILL try and find a way to shut your account down if you arent to the letter (I know, AMZ kept around $80k in total due to very minor infractions).

Hopefully that will help some folks.

Unfortunatley I cant really offer much in terms of help there, but I can help you convert the traffic that you have better.

I have a questions for the OP. How did you get passed those investigation from the side of Amazon?! I read in other thread of yours that you had separate bank accounts (does that include separate AMZ accounts as well) and are those accounts all on your name ?!

This guy is a true helpmaker, that I can tell. AMZ hasn't been my direction before, but he inspired me to work that thing too.

That's nice and all but it would be great if you went into detail what you did, rather than vague generic stuff.
